Year & Era
2024 — Modern Chrome Era
Card Type
Base Rookie Card
Grade
Raw — appears Excellent to Near Mint (EX-NM)
Rarity
Common base rookie card from a widely distributed modern Panini set, high overall print run but highly sought after due to the player's draft position.
Overall Assessment
A popular modern rookie card of a high-profile rookie quarterback, though compromised by noticeable surface scratches that limit its high-grade potential.
Condition Grade
Raw — appears Excellent to Near Mint (EX-NM)
Centering Assessment
Front appears relatively well-centered left-to-right, but contains significant surface wear and scratches predominantly visible on the top loader and card surface.
Surface Condition
Moderate to heavy surface scratching and scuffing visible across the metallic finish and top loader, grading potential will be heavily impacted by these surface defects.
Corner Condition
Corners appear relatively sharp under the current sleeve, though minor softening or touching cannot be fully ruled out without removing from the holder.
Edge Condition
Edges appear clean with minimal chipping, typical of modern chromium-stock Panini products.
Print Quality
Standard Panini Mosaic chromium print quality featuring vibrant purple tones and geometric patterns, though susceptible to surface scratches out of the pack.
Estimated Value
Raw: $5 - $15 depending on current market hype; Graded copies vary widely based on final surface condition sub-grades.
Comparison to Known Examples
Centering is competitive, but surface condition appears below average compared to pack-fresh submission-worthy copies due to visible scratches.
Authentication Tips
Look for authentic Panini Mosaic chromium reflectivity, proper card stock thickness, and crisp font typography on the back.
Grading Recommendation
PSA or SGC. However, due to visible surface scratches, grading is not recommended unless the surface damage is solely on the top loader.
Red Flags
No significant red flags regarding counterfeiting, but heavy surface scratches present a major condition concern.
Provenance Notes
Sourced from standard 2024 Panini Mosaic retail or hobby packs distributed nationally.
