Rarity
Common base rookie card from a popular modern retail/hobby release, high print run but highly sought after due to player popularity.
Overall Assessment
A wonderful raw rookie card of an emerging star tight end, ideal for a personal player collection or set builder, though hindered by centering and surface flaws from achieving a high professional grade.
Condition Grade
Raw — appears Excellent to Near Mint
Centering Assessment
Front centering is noticeably heavy on the right side and bottom, with the right border significantly thicker than the left.
Surface Condition
Surface shows noticeable scratching and vertical lines running across the top portion of the card, typical of unsealed chrome printing stock without proper handling.
Corner Condition
Corners appear relatively square, but the bottom right and top right corners show minor softening under close inspection.
Edge Condition
Edges are generally clean, though the right edge exhibits slight chipping along the silver reflective border.
Print Quality
Standard Optic chromium finish with good color saturation, though suffering from typical cut alignment issues leading to poor centering.
Estimated Value
Raw estimated at $5 to $15 USD depending on current market demand for Brock Bowers rookie cards; graded copies in PSA 9 or 10 would command higher premiums.
Comparison to Known Examples
This copy falls below the average for the print run due to sub-optimal centering and visible surface imperfections.
Authentication Tips
Check for the distinct Optic chromium gloss reflection, official Donruss Optic logo, and licensed NFL shield hologram on the back stock.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading due to sub-optimal centering and visible surface scratches which would likely cap the grade at a PSA 6 or 7.
Red Flags
No significant red flags of counterfeiting observed; standard modern card stock and printing techniques are present.
