Overall Assessment
A visually striking 2024 Panini Select 'Future' insert of star running back Bijan Robinson, currently dragged down in eye appeal by heavy exterior scratching on the protective sleeve. Ideal for a personal PC binder or casual fan collection.
Condition Grade
Raw — Heavy surface damage / scratched sleeve or card
Centering Assessment
Front appears relatively well-centered within normal modern tolerances, roughly 50/50 side-to-side
Surface Condition
Heavy scratches and potential surface cracking visible, though many scratches appear to be on the outer protective penny sleeve rather than the card stock itself. Requires inspection out of the sleeve.
Corner Condition
Corners appear generally sharp under sleeve, but hard to evaluate with absolute precision due to the protective sleeve and glare.
Edge Condition
Clean edges apparent along visible borders, standard modern chrome-stock card edge quality.
Print Quality
Standard high-gloss modern chrome finish with foil stamping and metallic borders typical of Panini Select
Estimated Value
$2 to $10 raw (dependent on whether scratches are on the card or sleeve, and exact parallel variant)
Comparison to Known Examples
Centering is standard for the product, but surface appearance is heavily impacted by wear/scratches compared to pack-fresh copies
Authentication Tips
Check for authentic Panini holographic logos on the back, crisp micro-text, and proper chrome card stock thickness
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for grading due to visible heavy surface scratches and low raw value, unless verified that scratches are exclusively on the outer penny sleeve
Red Flags
Extensive surface scratches visible across the front slab/sleeve, needing careful examination to determine if the card itself is damaged
Provenance Notes
Sourced from standard 2024 Panini Select football retail or hobby wax packs
Historical Context
Bijan Robinson was selected 8th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons, generating massive rookie card hype as one of the premier offensive weapon prospects of his draft class
Market Trends
Bijan Robinson cards remain popular among modern running back collectors, though non-rookie and common insert cards experience typical seasonal price fluctuations
Investment Potential
Hold or casual collector piece; not a prime investment candidate due to high print runs of base inserts and potential surface wear
