2021 Panini Prestige Xtra Points Autographs #Not visible
Year & Era
2021 - Modern Era
Card Type
Rookie Autograph Parallel
Grade
Raw - Poor (Heavy surface scratching, indentation, damage)
Rarity
Common auto parallel within a large modern retail/hobby set, though print runs for unnumbered Xtra Points vary.
Overall Assessment
A fun college uniform autograph for an Illinois fan, but severely compromised by heavy surface damage and scratches, limiting its value strictly to a few dollars.
Condition Grade
Raw - Poor (Heavy surface scratching, indentation, damage)
Centering Assessment
Front appears relatively well-centered side-to-side, but heavily impacted by severe surface damage.
Surface Condition
Poor condition with prominent surface scratches, deep scuffs, and a major scratch cutting across the middle and top right.
Corner Condition
Moderate wear on corners, slightly rounded under heavy handling and sleeve friction.
Edge Condition
Minor chipping and edge whitening visible along the top and side borders.
Print Quality
Standard Panini modern card stock with foil stamping and holographic sticker authentication, though hampered by heavy post-production physical wear.
Estimated Value
Under $5.00 due to severe surface damage and low player demand.
Comparison to Known Examples
Significantly below average condition compared to raw copies due to heavy scratching and wear on the surface.
Authentication Tips
Look for the official Panini holographic 'Authentic' sticker across the autograph box and certified autograph text on the card back.
Grading Recommendation
Not worth grading. The heavy surface scratching will result in a very low grade (likely PSA 1 or 2), far exceeding the cost of grading.
Red Flags
No concerns regarding counterfeiting, but severe physical damage and scratching significantly detract from its collectibility.
Provenance Notes
Pulled from 2021 Panini Prestige Football retail or hobby packs.
Historical Context
Part of Panini's popular Prestige brand, known for offering affordable rookie autographs and colorful parallels for college football stars.
Market Trends
Stable to declining. Josh Imatorbhebhe is an undrafted rookie free agent who did not establish a long-term NFL career, keeping demand strictly to team collectors.
Investment Potential
Low investment potential; best suited as a sentimental piece for Illinois Fighting Illini team collectors.
