Raw — appears Near Mint
Centering Assessment
Acetate cards typically feature borderless transparent designs, but the printed layers appear well-aligned relative to the die-cut edges.
Surface Condition
Acetate cards are notoriously prone to hairline scratching and scuffing from handling and moving inside top loaders. The front shows minor surface reflections and typical microscopic scuffs common to raw acetate inserts.
Corner Condition
Sharp corners typical of die-cut and precision-cut acetate stock, though slight softening or chipping can occur if not handled carefully.
Edge Condition
Clean factory cut along the acetate edges with no major denting or major chipping visible through the protective holder.
Print Quality
High-definition multi-layered printing on transparent acetate stock. Colors are vibrant, though reverse-side printing can sometimes show minor friction wear.
Estimated Value
Estimated raw market value is between $15 to $35 USD depending on the specific serial numbering variant and current demand for Indianapolis Colts star players.
Comparison to Known Examples
This copy appears comparable to standard raw copies found in the secondary market, showing typical minor surface friction from sliding in and out of top loaders.
Authentication Tips
Look for the distinctive clear plastic acetate stock, official Panini licensing logos, foil stamping, and sharp multi-layer registration that counterfeiters struggle to replicate on transparent materials.
Grading Recommendation
SGC or Beckett (BGS) are generally preferred for transparent acetate cards due to their secure holder slabs, though grading is only recommended if the surface is completely free of hairline scratches.
Red Flags
No significant red flags observed. The card displays correct font styles, player imagery, and standard Panini acetate thickness.
