A clean, serial-numbered dual on-card autograph card of two solid NFL safeties from the 2007 rookie class, offering great visual appeal for set builders and team collectors at an accessible price point
Condition Grade
Raw — appears Near Mint to Mint
Centering Assessment
Front: 52/48 Left-Right, 50/50 Top-Bottom; Back: Not fully visible but appears well-centered within acceptable tolerance
Surface Condition
Near Mint; clean foil finish with standard minor micro-scratches typical of glossy Upper Deck inserts of this vintage
Corner Condition
Sharp corners with very light rounding under magnification, typical of thick stock multi-player acetate/foil cards
Edge Condition
Clean edges with no major chipping, though standard minor chipping along the foil borders can be present on SPx thick stock
Print Quality
High print quality with sharp player photography, clear foil stamping, and clean on-card signatures in blue sharpie
Estimated Value
$15 - $30 raw, depending on buyer demand for defensive backs from the 2007 rookie class
Comparison to Known Examples
Centering is strong compared to typical copies from this set, which often suffer from left-heavy or bottom-heavy alignment
Authentication Tips
Verify serial numbering stamp (28/75) matches Upper Deck conventions of 2007; examine on-card autographs for natural pen pressure and ink feathering
Grading Recommendation
Raw / Top Loader; grading is likely not cost-effective unless graded for personal collection due to modest market demand for these specific defensive players
Red Flags
No significant red flags observed; signatures are clean and serial numbering appears authentic to the 2007 Upper Deck manufacturing standards
Provenance Notes
Pulled from 2007 Upper Deck SPx Football hobby boxes, which guaranteed rookie autographs and memorabilia inserts per box
Historical Context
2007 was a notable draft class for defensive backs, with both Reggie Nelson and Brandon Meriweather being selected in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft
Market Trends
Stable to niche market; defensive backs generally command lower values than quarterbacks or skill positions unless they are Hall of Famers
Investment Potential
Hold; suitable primarily for team collectors or player PC (personal collection) enthusiasts rather than high-growth financial investment
